How to use 'Block-Out' to restrict service availability Follow

 

Example Scenario:

You have a service for hire which can be booked for the morning, afternoon or all day. The morning can be booked at 8.30am, afternoon at 1.30pm and all day from 9am.

Create the 3 options in the service setup, set the required duration and using the 'Block-out' feature located in the 'Availability' tab for the service setup, you can block out the time-slots that each option can't be booked.

Setup > Services > Availability

In the example below, the morning option is blocked out from 1pm to close, the afternoon option is blocked out from 8.30am to 1.30pm and the full day is blocked out from 8.30am to 9am and 5pm to 6.30pm.

This results in the morning option only showing 8.30am, the afternoon option only showing 1.30pm and all day showing 9am.
